My Review

Fukaya is labeled a "shut-in" in the manga description, but honestly, I think he’s more of a relatable homebody. He’s into games, figures, and the peace and quiet that many introverts crave. He works at a laundromat, but his daily highlight? Receiving packages from the handsome and cool delivery guy, Tsuchiya.

Fukaya has made it a habit—bordering on a slight obsession—of ordering things just to see Tsuchiya. He even idolizes him, which is both adorable but also a little over-the-top. Fukaya's incredibly insecure and tends to put himself down, something even his laundromat boss picks up on. She gives him a little push to start jogging and getting in shape, which eventually leads to an unexpected run-in with Tsuchiya.

What’s charming about their dynamic is how they balance each other out. Fukaya overthinks everything, while Tsuchiya is more like, “Huh, I didn’t really think about it.” It’s a perfect opposites-attract situation. Tsuchiya even admits that he’s considered “dumb” and that his physique is all he’s got going for him.

This manga isn’t necessarily groundbreaking, but its message is sweet: love is about accepting each other as you are. Not judging someone's hobbies, interests, intelligence of physique. Fukaya and Tsuchiya might not be the general idea of “cool,” but they’re perfect for each other, quirks and all. There's also a slight twist at the end, which I didn't see coming.

If you’re looking for a lighthearted read, this one is worth checking out! Also worth nothing- this manga also includes a bonus story, which I didn't include in my review.
